Transportation Household Goods to The UK.
Galleon International takes great pride in our ability to coordinate freight transportation for all our Clients household goods and personal effects:
By Road: We have our own specialist fleet of International vehicles, complete with our own Crews, operating extensively throughout the UK and Europe. As an extension of our service capability we work with a carefully selected network of road transport companies worldwide. Our base is conveniently located for access to the UK’s European Freight Terminal.
By Air: Where deadlines are tight and speed is of the essence, this offers the fastest solution. We handle all scheduling of Air Freight and, where possible, use our preferred Airlines with whom we have long-standing working relationships and who recognise and respect our insistence on Sole consignments for all our Clients.
By Sea: Where timings allow, this is often the most economical option. Whether a mover’s total effects constitute a Full or Partial container load, we guarantee that they will be individually cased and sent forward as a dedicated sole consignment. We believe this is essential for tight control, continuity and security,as well as ensuring speed and efficiency.
We also advise on and arrange for Export and Import Customs clearance – please see the relevant documentation section for the necessary forms and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
We wish to draw your attention, to a change in UK Import Regulation. With affect from the 1st of April, 2017 there is a change in Legislation imposed by HMRC, that will directly affect Entry of Used Household Consignments into the UK coming from outside the EU.
The former C3 Document has been officially withdrawn, and the New TOR (Transfer of Residence) Application has consequently changed the manner in how we support the documentation requirements.
Anyone wishing to set up residence, and wishing to transfer their respective used household goods and effects will now need to comply with the new directives. Please refer to the TOR Link for further guidance and information.
