Galleon International’s purpose-built storage facility is protected by the latest Fire Protection and Security Systems. In addition, we have CCTV coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our facilities are available to offer multiple storage options.
Applying Industry common practice
We prefer to store household goods in wooden custom built uniform size cases ( or pallets as we know them) . The ideology behind this encourages effects to be able to breathe, thus minimising the likelihood of ‘mould and mildew’ impact. There may be occasions however, when a Client has a preference for their effects to be held in a more robust steel ISO container and we are able to cater accordingly.
The time-frames are entirely flexible, in that we are very much led by Client request. Short term storage is made available to those that are awaiting access to Temporary Accommodation or beyond that, when long term storage is selected e.g. for the entire duration of an overseas secondment. Each Individual’s effects are always containerised separately, to reduce handling and thus allow fast and direct loading onto our vehicles.
Extending beyond the UK, through our network of globally vetted and established Partners, they too are able to offer comparable facilities and options.
